Barrier Islands (Armona, Culatra, Farol and Fuseta)
In Armona Island you can walk along the large beach of white sand, and observe the architecture of many different beach houses present there.
The Culatra Island is small fishing community who live there all year and live from what the sea and the Ria Formosa bring to them. The island has a school, a small church, shops and a variety of restaurants, where you can enjoy the best and freshest cuisine of the Ria Formosa.
The famous Farol Island (Lighthouse Island), it’s the point most south of Portugal, is undoubtedly unique. Its clear waters lead to the discovery of a world of new experiences of marine life. With boat access, with careers every 15 minutes and only 10 minutes driving, the Fuseta Island is a paradise location that you will not want to miss.
